Join us for a walking tour of downtown Newark, highlighting some of the treasures of Broad Street. Buildings such as the National Newark Building, City Hall, Prudential and Symphony Hall have all been instrumental in the development of Newark's primary business district. See historic photographs of Broad Street in the 1800s and early 1900s from the New Jersey Historical Society's collections.
Tours meet in the lobby of the New Jersey Historical Society. No reservations are required. Tours will run rain or shine. Tours are free but donations are accepted.
